BBC Best Business Chinese is the third volume of the BBC Practical Business Chinese series, which
is aimed at the learners with a good foundation of Chinese language, and is suitable for intermediate or above Chinese language learners both domestically and internationally, including pre-service, on-service, re-entry and promoted employees of multinational corporations who have been or will be sent to work in China, and foreign managers of multinational corporations or Chinese companies. Based on the contents of international economic and trade and highlighting the connotation of business culture, this textbookaims at improving the learners' language proficiency and cross-cultural communication skills through thelarge number of diversified, step-by-step and fun practices. The textbook is divided into ten lessons, eachof which consists of a set of two Chinese-English texts, word analyses, and a post-lesson practices. Eachlesson covers a pre-reading, thinking and discussion questions, a text that is both related and relativelyindependent in content, and exercises. The exercises include group discussions and presentations,questionnaires, case studies, matching exercises based on the text content and grammar, readingcomprehension, word-phrase-sentence-paragraph-discourse-text-article and task-based writing exercises.
